Similarly, 12% feel it unites nations against common threats. Another 13% think wars can prompt positive reform post-conflict. However, skepticism prevailed among certain respondents.
A notable 14% highlighted war's destructive impact on resources, slowing progress. Equally, 14% decried the immense human suffering and loss it engenders. A hopeful 18% argued for the effectiveness of peaceful conflict resolution in promoting sustainable development. Meanwhile, 16% pointed to history, asserting progress is achievable during peaceful times.
