You Won't Believe What People Did This Summer!

This summer, a poll asked folks about their most exciting adventures. Surprisingly, the popular choice wasn't a thrilling escapade but rather staying at home. Yes, 17% of respondents claimed their home's comfort as their most exciting summer adventure.
Close behind, 16% of thrill-seekers uncovered a hidden waterfall, an experience no doubt filled with serene beauty and maybe a mosquito bite or two. Road trips drove 15% of participants to new territories, probably with the classic “are we there yet?” echoing in the background.
Big summer festivals attracted 14% of party-goers, who likely lost count of hours danced away. Another 13% of adventurers braved skydiving and other jaw-dropping sports, possibly screaming all the way down. Camping under the stars also captivated 13%, with tales of ghost stories and burnt marshmallows told by the campfire.
Similarly, learning to surf at the beach saw 13% hanging ten, perhaps wiping out more than riding the waves.
Surprisingly, 0% chose travel or the simplicity of a picnic. Perhaps travel plans were foiled by delays or perhaps ants spoiled the picnic scene.
Human errors might skew the results. After all, a slip of a touchscreen or a distraction could've misrepresented someone's adventurous tale. Regardless, it seems that for many, the best summer adventure was sometimes right at their doorstep.
