Out Of This World: Will We Ever Make Another Planet Our Home?
by HICHEE
1 year, Nepal In a recent poll, opinions were divided on the possibility of living on other planets. Surprisingly, only 18% believe technology will eventually make this a reality. A cautious 14% think it might happen, but not in our lifetime.
Controlled habitats gained some traction, with another 14% considering them viable, even if a full planetary transformation seems daunting. Meanwhile, 12% dismissed terraforming as overly ambitious.
A skeptical 13% wrote it off as science fiction. Meanwhile, 15% prioritize saving Earth, and an optimistic 14% think future humans might adapt to harsh worlds.
The results highlight a mix of hope, realism, and caution. Human errors in these perceptions are inevitable, given the complexity of space exploration. But for now, the stars remain far from home.
