In an unexpected twist, a new poll reveals surprising insights into how people value their friendships. Sentiments like "True friends are like stars, they shine brightest in the darkest times" certainly tug at the heartstrings, but do they reflect reality? Not exactly.
Out of the responses, a whopping 62% expressed a strong agreement with this sentiment about friends being shining stars. Meanwhile, 18% were a bit more reserved but still positive. Around 19% fell somewhere in the middle, showing a modest level of agreement.
Shockingly, only 1% of respondents showed minimal enthusiasm, while another 1% seem to question these heartfelt claims altogether. Are we missing the mark when it comes to truly appreciating friendships? Or is it that the romance of friendship fades for some?
