Haritalika Teej is a biggest religious cultural for Hindu women. Thousands of women in red sarees dance, sing, and pray together throughout the day.
Fasting (Vrat): Married women fast for the longevity, health, and prosperity of their husbands, while unmarried women fast to pray for a good partner.
Dressing Up (Solah Shringar): Women wear traditional red, green, or yellow attire (sarees ) intricate Mehendi on their hands, and wear fine jewelry.
Swings (Jhula): Hanging swings from large trees is a classic Hariyali Teej tradition, symbolizing joy and freedom.
Festive Foods: Families prepare sweet treats, most notably Ghevar (a traditional Rajasthani disc-shaped sweet), along with Kheer, Puri, and Peda.
