by HICHEE
2 years, Philippines In a surprising revelation, a recent poll has unveiled unexpected tendencies among employees when dealing with serious, widespread wrongdoing at work. The results are as mixed as a bag of jellybeans, showcasing where people's trust truly lies.
A modest 17% of participants would approach a supervisor if they stumbled upon significant misconduct. Slightly more, at 18%, prefer ringing the alarm to the boss directly. It's a bit like choosing between a rock and a hard place.
Colleagues aren’t the popular choice either, with only 12% relying on fellow workers. Meanwhile, human resources doesn’t fare much better, earning the confidence of just 15%. Perhaps HR isn't the knight in shining armor many hoped it would be.
Interestingly, 19% confessed they'd spill the beans to friends or family. It seems when in doubt, call mom or a buddy.
Turning to the law, a mere 10% would report to law enforcement agencies. The same low percentage opted for telling journalists. Perhaps bringing scandals to the media isn’t as appealing as it looks in movies.
Mind you, these findings might not be flawless. Pollsters are only human. Maybe someone misread an option, or clicked a random choice in a hurry. Who knows?
In the end, these numbers tell a story of uncertainty and varied inclinations. When it comes to serious issues at work, people’s decisions are as unpredictable as they are intriguing.
